Integrated Wind Solutions AS is pleased to announce that its fully owned subsidiary Awind AS has secured a charter contract with an undisclosed European company for of one of its newbuilding Walk-to-Work Commissioning Service Operation Vessels under construction.
The contract will commence in mid-2023 with a firm contract duration of total 546 days excluding options. The contract value is in line with previous forecasted rates as referred to in the company’s Investor Presentation March 2021.

Awind AS, a fully owned subsidiary of Integrated Wind Solutions, has entered into two newbuild construction contracts with a leading and reputable shipyard, China Merchants Industry Holdings Co., Ltd. for the construction of two “walk-to-work” Commissioning Service Operation Vessels with delivery in the first half of 2023, and additional options for further four vessels.
The vessels are equipped for zero-emission operations by battery biased plug-in hybrid solution and are prepared for continuous zero-emission operations. The vessels have 3D motion compensated crane, motion compensated gangway and can accommodate up to 120 persons whereof a large majority of single cabins, tailored for highly efficient and safe “walk-to-work” operations.
